This site is a personal portfolio. It has no accounts, no login, and no forms. The page you're reading exists because a clear statement of what happens to your data is worth more than a vague one, and because the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 expects it.

What data gets collected

Very little. Here is the full list:

  • Aggregated traffic stats via Cloudflare Web Analytics. This is cookieless and privacy-friendly. It reports page views, countries, and device types in aggregate. It does not track individuals, and it does not set cookies in your browser.
  • Server and edge logs from Cloudflare, which record request metadata (IP address, timestamp, user agent) for security and abuse protection. These are short-lived and not used to build a profile of you.
  • Messages you send me directly on WhatsApp or email. If you contact me about a project, I keep that conversation for as long as it's relevant to the work, and longer only where a contract or law requires it.

That's it. There is no advertising tracker, no cross-site pixel, and no third-party cookie on this site.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies itself. Cloudflare Web Analytics runs without cookies. If Cloudflare's edge network sets a technical cookie for bot mitigation or rate limiting, it is strictly operational and not used to identify you for advertising.

Third-party services

When you load a page, your browser talks to a few services beyond this domain:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces (IBM Plex Mono and IBM Plex Sans). Google receives a request for the font files; whether they log it is governed by their own privacy policy.
  • WhatsApp and LinkedIn receive a request only if you tap one of those links. That's your choice, and their policies take over from there.

Your rights

Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data an organisation holds about you, and to object to certain processing. Since this site holds almost nothing about you, exercising those rights is straightforward: email me and I'll deal with it. Where a request relates to a project we've worked on together, I'll handle it within the timeframe the Act requires.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. There's no reason for a child to send me project enquiries, but if one does, I won't retain the information.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles data changes, this page changes with it, and the "last updated" date above moves forward. Nothing here is retroactive in a way that would reduce your rights.
